Gwen Titus started her journey in the Celtic arts world as a Highlander dancer. Pipe bands were an inevitable part of her life, as she was, according to her "birthed into the pipe band world" thanks to her Grandfather's participation with the LA Scots Pipe Band as a drummer in the 1970s. She started drum majoring in 2002, and brought her talents to the Charleston Pipe Band in the wake of the COVID pandemic as many bands were adjusting their rosters and schedules. One of the highlights of her Scottish arts life was when she got to dance for the Queen at the millennium march.
When she's not leading the band down the street or across the field, you can find her working as a horse trainer and equestrian head coach at Wofford College.
